聽As part of its efforts aimed to end the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure 鈥渟afety and security鈥� in the local communities, Aeon will make a total donation of 350 million yen as support funds to promote vaccination for COVID-19 to the governments of ASEAN countries where the AEON Group operates.聽

Aeon is engaged in the retail, financial services, and services businesses with an aim to contribute to enriching the lives of the people in ASEAN countries and their sustainable development. Restrictions on people鈥檚 movements and slowdown in economic activities have continued in ASEAN countries affected by the spread of COVID-19, and the purpose of the donation is to use the funds to facilitate COVID-19 vaccinations being promoted by the ASEAN governments and thereby help take measures against disease control and recover the economy.聽

As for Indonesia, the total contribution form AEON Group will be 50 million yen, including 15 million yen from AEON Mall Co., Ltd.聽
