PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (Alfamidi) collected consumer donations of Rp 819,190,983 throughout October 2021. If totaled from January 2021 to October 2021, Alfamidi's consumer donations collected were Rp 7,531,434,481.

As of September 1, 2021 to October 31, 2021, donation management is carried out by the zakat management agency Baitulmaal Muamalat (BMM). Total donations managed by BMM amounted to Rp 1,555,751,459.

Corporate Communication Alfamidi Arif Lutfian Nursandi explained that the management of donations is currently more allocated to help people affected by Covid-19. "Especially for small businesses and workers whose economy has been disrupted by COVID-19," he explained on Tuesday (11/16/2021).

The assistance that has been provided so far includes the provision of ambulances, basic necessities, distribution of masks, and others. Not only for people affected by Covid-19, assistance is also prepared for people affected by other natural disasters.

Several other foundations that manage Alfamidi's consumer donations are Mizan Amanah, Bahrul Maghfiroh Cinta Indonesia (BMCI), and the Islamic Development Fund of the Indonesian Ulema Council (IDF-MUI).

Mizan Amanah is the manager of the donation for the period January - March 2021 with managed funds of Rp 2,095,024,327 billion. BMCI for the period April - June 2021 is IDR 2,529,220,085. Then IDF-MUI for the period July - August 2021 with managed funds of IDR 1,554,028,618.

Alfamidi also expressed his gratitude to all consumers who have set aside a portion of their shopping change to be donated. "We are committed to always being trustworthy in managing and allocating Alfamidi consumer donations," said Arif.
