PT Amerta Indah Otsuka today successfully held the POCARI SWEAT RUN INDONESIA 2021 running event in a hybrid (offline and online) manner with very strict health protocols. This activity was held from Gedung Sate, Bandung City and Kota Baru Parahyangan, West Bandung Regency and broadcast through vidio.com.


In line with the company's vision and mission, Puspita Winawati, as Marketing Director of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka said, "POCARI SWEAT RUN INDONESIA 2021 has entered its eighth year as a form of consistency to create healthy Indonesian people by diligently exercising, one of which is running. The #saferunning campaign is also consistently carried out every year and of course this year, the implementation of the POCARI SWEAT RUN INDONESIA 2021 activity prioritizes the safety of runners by adapting very strict health protocols."


The Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil said, "This event can be an example for other events. How sports events can be held offline and online while still implementing strict health protocols. Stay productive in the midst of a pandemic."


The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Uno, has high hopes for runners for the advancement of tourism in Indonesia, "The hybrid concept promoted by POCARI SWEAT RUN INDONESIA 2021 provides a platform for runners to be able to run from anywhere, including the best tourist locations because Indonesia is rich in resources. places that can be used to support sport tourism.â€


For offline activities, POCARI SWEAT RUN INDONESIA 2021 is followed by a limited number of runners, has been vaccinated against COVID19 for the second dose, and the Peduli Protect application has been verified. All offline runners have tested negative for COVID19 before entering the area.


As a form of anticipating crowds, preventive measures were taken by dividing into 2 locations for offline activities, namely Gedung Sate (category of running 10 kilometers distance) and Kota Baru Parahyangan (category of half marathon and marathon running). The release of runners is carried out in stages with a maximum of 50 people in each group with a 3-minute break. After running, there are no offline entertainment events and runners are required to leave the location immediately.


This offline activity can also be felt directly online. The real-time flag-off for the 3 Indonesian time zones was specifically organized to accommodate runners from Aceh to Papua. And offline running rituals such as live MC, singing Indonesia Raya, warm-up, live cheering, and Kahitna music performances can be followed by all runners.


The proud national running athlete of West Java, Agus Prayogo, felt a new experience that was different from previous running events. ."


Several government officials and public figures were also present at POCARI SWEAT RUN INDONESIA 2021 hosted by Melanie Putria and Daniel Mananta, such as: Hengky Kurniawan (Plt Regent of West Bandung), Bima Arya (Mayor of Bogor), Najwa Shihab (Co-Founder of Narrative), as well as other public figures.
