Dassault Aviation is a French aerospace company that makes military aircraft, regional jets, business jets and jetliners. The company was founded by Marcel Bloch under the name Société des Avions Marcel Bloch or "MB". After World War II, Marcel Bloch changed his name to Marcel Dassault, and the company name changed to Avions Marcel Dassault on December 20, 1947. In 1990, the company name was changed to Dassault Aviation.
