Kotayk Brewery is one of Armenia's major breweries, located in Abovyan, Kotayk Province. It was originally established in the 1970s as Abovyan Brewery and is now part of the Multi Group Concern. The brewery produces a variety of beers, including the well-known "Kotayk" and "Erebuni" brands, utilizing both local and imported raw materials. The facility has modern Czech equipment and spans over 6.5 hectares, taking advantage of high-quality local water sources. In the mid-1990s, the brewery partnered with the French company Castel, enhancing its production capabilities and expanding its reach. In 2011, Armenian businessman Gagik Tsarukyan acquired full ownership, solidifying its position within his Multi Group Concern. The brewery has received international awards for quality, including recognition in Madrid and New York.
