The Nuclear Science Museum of the Federal University of Pernambuco was inaugurated on May 20, 2010, through initiatives by the Nuclear Dosimetry and Instrumentation Group (GDOIN) of the Nuclear Energy Department (DEN) of UFPE, with the help of collaborators. Despite its recent opening, the museum is the result of an effort and a dream of more than ten years to, using modern language, objects and models, demystify the nuclear area for students and visitors, with the help of old and new objects, panels, videos, photos, models, among others.
