Our Association, which was founded in 1970 primarily to raise the Turkish Iron and Steel Industry to the level of developed countries; to provide a structure that can keep up with global developments in every way; to collect and disseminate statistical information on the Turkish and global iron and steel industry; to discuss the problems our members encounter; to produce and apply all necessary legal means to solve them; and to convey the results of its work to the relevant public and private sector organizations and the public, has been continuing its activities in line with its founding purpose since the said date. Our Association has 24 members, consisting of manufacturing organizations.
