Akureyrarkirkja or Akureyri Church is the leading Lutheran church in Akureyri in northern Iceland. Located in the city center, it was designed by Gu冒j贸n Sam煤elsson and completed in 1940. Akureyrarkirkja contains a massive 3200-pipe organ. The bas-relief on the central balcony was created by sculptor smundur Sveinsson.
