Borsippa or Birs Nimrud is an archaeological site in Babil Governorate, Iraq. Its ziggurat, the 鈥淭ower of the Tongue鈥�, which is one of the most easily identifiable remaining ziggurats, is further recognized in Talmudic and Arabic culture as the Tower of Babel.
