Burj Khalifa (Arabic برج خليفة meaning 'Khalifa Tower'), formerly Burj Dubai, is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which opened on January 4, 2010. The height of this skyscraper is 828 meters (2,717 feet). Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world ever built by humans. Starting from passing the height of Taipei 101 as the tallest building in the world on July 21 2007. On September 12 2007, the Burj Khalifa succeeded in passing the height of the CN Tower as the highest free structure (without supports) in the world and on April 7 2008 the tallest structure in the world from The KVLY-TV tower in Blanchard, North Dakota, United States was successfully passed. The tallest structure ever built by man, the 645.4 m (2,120 ft) Warsaw Radio Tower built in 1974 (but collapsed during renovations in 1991) was successfully passed on 1 September 2008.
