The Great Mosque of Aleppo or Umayyad Mosque of Aleppo is the largest mosque in the city of Aleppo, Syria. This mosque is located in the al-Jalloum district of Aleppo's old city. This mosque is said to house the remains of Zechariah, the father of the Prophet Yahya. This mosque was built in the early 8th century.
