Guaita Tower, also known as the First Tower, is the oldest and most famous of San Marino’s three iconic towers. Perched atop Mount Titano, it offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the city below. Built in the 11th century, the tower served as a fortress and prison. It is a symbol of the Republic’s independence and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
