The Samarinda Islamic Center Mosque or commonly abbreviated as MICS is the second largest mosque in Indonesia after the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta. The Samarinda Islamic Center Mosque is also equipped with 7 towers, one of which is the main tower which reaches 99 meters high. This main tower consists of 15 floors and each floor has an average height of 6 meters. Meanwhile, the other 4 towers located at each corner of the mosque each have a height of 70 meters. The other 2 towers located on both sides of the mosque entrance gate are each 57 meters high.
