    St John's Fort (Kota St John) is a historic fort in Melaka City. This fort was rebuilt from a Portuguese fort that existed during the Dutch era in the 18th century to protect against attacks from land. Formerly a private Portuguese chapel dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
