    is a Buddhist temple located in the city of Nara, Japan. It is located northeast of Nara Park, and is the main temple of the Kegon sect. The temple was founded in the 8th century by Emperor Shōmu. The Gohonzon is in the form of Wairocana Buddha known as Nara Daibutsu. The founder of the temple was a monk named Rōben.
