Wadi as-Salaam (Arabic: 賵丕丿賷 丕賱爻賱丕賲, translit. W膩d墨 as-Sal膩m, har. 'Valley of Peace') is an Islamic cemetery complex located in Najaf, Iraq, one of the Shia holy cities. The cemetery is the largest in the world, covering 601 hectares (6.01 km2) with tens of millions of bodies buried within it.
