    Yukigaya Church is a Protestant church,faithfully inheriting the faith and system of the religious reformer Calvin (the faith and elder system of the Reformed church). Missionary work began in 1912 (Meiji 45) in Gotenyama, Kitashinagawa, Tokyo, by missionaries from the Dutch Reformed Church in the United States and a Japanese pastor, and in 1947, it moved to Yukidani, where it continues today.
