Ikan Gurame (Grilled Carp) Recipe

Processed carp has always been a favorite of many people because the meat is soft and tasty. Besides being fried, carp can also be grilled and equipped with soy sauce. Now, restaurant-style grilled carp, you can make your own at home.


For the process of making it, we divide it in three stages. First, stir-fry the ground spices that become the seasoning for the fish spread. The second stage is to grill the fish until it is cooked. Lastly, make the sambal for the grilled fish dip. The addition of Sweet Soy Sauce in ground spices and chili sauce certainly enriches the taste of this menu. The complete recipe is below.


Ingredients:

- 800 g (2 tails) carp, cleaned, cut both sides

- 2 tsp lime juice

- 1 tsp salt

- 1 tbsp tamarind water solution

- 5 tbsp Sweet Soy Sauce

- 3 tbsp oil, for frying

- 6 red onions

- 3 cloves of garlic

- 4 curly red chilies

- 3 large red chilies

- 2 pieces of red chili

- 2 cm ginger

- 2 tsp coriander grains

- 1 tsp salt

- 5 tbsp Sweet Soy Sauce

- 1 tomato, seeds removed, cut into small dice

- 5 red chilies, thinly sliced

- 5 green chilies, thinly sliced

- 2 red onions, finely sliced

- 1/2 tsp lime juice


How to Cook:

1. Coat the carp with lime juice and salt.

2. Let stand for 15 minutes.

3. Heat oil, saute ground spices until fragrant.

4. Enter the tamarind water solution, mix well. Lift.

5. Add Sweet Soy Sauce, mix well.

6. Brush the fish with the ground spices that have been sauteed.

7. Heat the pan, grill the fish while smeared with spices.

8. Bake until both sides are evenly cooked.

9. Serve with soy sauce.
