Nasi goreng jawa is a Javanese-style of fried rice originated from Java. This dish can be found in Javanese cuisine and quite popular in Indonesia, especially Java. Commonly, this rice dish uses sambal ulek as seasoning and has a spicy taste.


Javanese fried rice recipe is one of the mainstay menus when you are at home. This home-cooked menu is very familiar to the ears and tongue of so many people in Indonesia. The fast and practical cooking process with delicious taste results makes this dish much popular.


Ingredients:

- 1,600 grams of white rice

- 2 eggs, beaten

- 1 piece of chicken thigh up and down, cut a bit thin

- 6 beef meatballs, sliced

- 5 pieces of cabbage, remove the bones, coarsely chopped

- 6 caisim sticks, cut into 3 cm

- 2 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce

- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce

- 1/8 teaspoon pepper powder

- 2 spring onions, thinly sliced

- 2 tablespoons oil, for frying

- 3 whole garlic cloves, fried

- 4 pecans, fried

- 6 red onions

- 3 large red chilies

- 5 grains of ebi


How to Cook:

1. Heat the oil. Stir-fry the spices until fragrant. Add the eggs in the middle of the pan. Stir until grainy.

2. Add chicken. Stir until chicken is cooked. Add beef meatballs. Stir briefly. Add cabbage and caisim. Stir until half wilted.

3. Add rice. Stir. Add Sweet Soy Sauce, salt, soy sauce and pepper. Stir until cooked.

4. Add the scallions. Stir well.

5. Serve in hot condition in a plate.

6. Your Javanese Fried Rice is ready to be serve.
