Several oil companies have adjusted the prices of their fuel products sold at gas stations starting from July 1, 2024. Among those lowering prices are Shell Indonesia, BP-AKR, and Vivo Energy Indonesia, except for PT Pertamina (Persero) gas stations.

For example, Shell has reduced the prices of several of its fuel products. Shell Super, starting July 1, 2024, is priced at Rp 13,810 per liter, down from Rp 14,580 per liter in June 2024. Similarly, Shell V Power has decreased from Rp 15,400 per liter to Rp 14,700 per liter. Shell Diesel Extra now costs Rp 14,670 per liter, down from Rp 15,320 per liter previously.

BP-AKR gas stations have also adjusted their prices, with BP 92 now priced at Rp 13,400 per liter, down from Rp 14,500 per liter in June 2024. Similarly, Vivo has set the price of Revvo 92 at Rp 13,600 per liter for July 2024, compared to Rp 15,000 per liter before. Revvo 90 is now priced at Rp 12,300 per liter, down from Rp 13,500 per liter in June 2024.

Meanwhile, PT Pertamina (Persero) has maintained its fuel prices.

Heppy Wulansari, Manager of Media and Stakeholder Relations at Pertamina Patra Niaga, explained that they are currently evaluating the prices of Non-subsidized fuels, closely monitoring global crude oil prices and the exchange rate of the Indonesian Rupiah against the US Dollar.

"For Non-subsidized fuels, we are still evaluating and monitoring the movements of global oil prices and the exchange rate.

As for subsidized fuel prices, the authority lies entirely with the government. So far, there is no information regarding plans to increase the prices of subsidized fuels such as diesel and Pertalite.
