Semur Ayam Recipe

Semur is an Indonesian meat stew braised in thick brown gravy. It is commonly found in Indonesian cuisine. The main ingredients in the gravy are sweet soy sauce, shallots, onions, garlic, ginger, candlenut, nutmeg, and cloves.
The process of making chicken stew is relatively easy even though it takes more than 15 minutes. No wonder stews are often a favorite food to serve at home. As the name implies, semur, which means boiling technique, this recipe requires time to boil the chicken until it is cooked and tender.
